Things to know about debt counselling

Debt counselling is not free and you will be charged according to the fee guidelines set out by the National Credit Act. You can view these fee guidelines on our website or on the website of the National Credit Regulator (NCR). Although your creditors will be unable to harass you and take legal action against you the debt counselling process is a legal process and you must also stand by your responsibilities which means you must make the necessary repayments and not take on any more credit like payday loans or personal loans until the process is completed and you've been issued with a clearance certificate.

Our staff is trained to assist you, and you will receive feedback from us in record time. The application forms can be found on our website as well and are easy to fill. We ensure that applicants can access the form from any device, from wherever they reside in the country; making our services accessible to all.

We follow strict eligibility criteria. Only applicants who fill the requirements would be considered for our services. You must be a legal adult to apply; meaning you must be eighteen years of age or older. Only South African residents are considered, and we do not take applicants from other regions.

To qualify for our debt services, prospective clients must be earning a stable income. Thus, you must be self-employed or working a full-time job to apply. We do not take applications from unemployed citizens.
